HYDROHELIX ENERGIES : The Sea Energy

How can we use the energy generated by the sea ?

The sea has not yet revealed which technologies will be the best. We don’t know which material will be the most resistant to ten thousand year return storms, or which will keep performing in all circumstances to guarantee financial profitability,” confirmed Jean-François Daviau, engineer at HydroHelix .And yet the energy is there, within reach. By itself, swell off the French coast for example can produce 417 tetra watt hours of pure energy per year, which is almost the total national electricity production (548.8 TWh).*
A french innovative company named : Hydrohelix Energies in Quimper (29) is developing hydrogenerator technology.
